Paris: Clignancourt Market

Clignancourt is an incredible flea market in Paris. This maze of concrete alley ways is a scavenger hunt of a dream for anyone who enjoys vintage china, antique furniture and perfect junk--if there is such a thing. I have included some of my favorite images, store owners and purchases from this trip. Your biggest challenge after making this stop will be how much you can fit in your suitcase. I could fit an antique Virgin Mary, a vintage ash tray from the French restaurant the Drouant, a Limoges tray and a line drawing on brown paper in mine. One more tip, you can definitely bargain a bit without feeling pushy.

  1. Oh girl...you know I am totally dying over the Virgin Mary...and the watercolors are amazing - especially grouped together the way they are. I cannot wait to see your purchases!
